"MARIPOSAS"
¡Feliz 2021 a tod@s!

say goodbye to 2020 I am going with this cover on drums and voice of the song

Argentine band "ENANITOS VERDES",
although for the occasion I have chosen a live version of 2018 in which they go
hand in hand with "HOMBRES G"
on stage, on the tour in which both bands were together, so I take the
opportunity to give a brushstroke of the history of both groups. Happy 2021
everyone!
"ENANITOS
VERDES" is considered one of the most important Argentine rock groups.
Their original members began in 1979 with Marciano Cantero (Voice, bass and
keyboards), Felipe Staiti (Guitar and choirs) and Daniel Piccolo (Drums). At
the beginning of the '80s they played in clubs in Mendoza, in 1984 Sergio Embroni
(Guitar and voice) joined the band and they recorded their first album called

As
for the "HOMBRES G" it is a Spanish pop-rock group that began its
journey at the beginning of the 80s as well. In 1982 with the name "LOS
BONITOS REDFORD" and in 1983 with the name that led to their success
"HOMBRES G" with simple and carefree pop songs as well known as
"Venezia", "Marta has a pacemaker" and "(The you
shit) Burt Lancaster ", among others. The members of the band are David
Summers (Voice and bass), Dani Mezquita (Guitar and keyboards), Rafa Gutierrez
(Guitar) and Javier Molina (Drums). Throughout their long career they have
released a total of 12 albums to date.
As
for the song chosen for today "MARIPOSAS", it is a love song, just by
reading the chorus its intention is already summarized: "If you leave I
have nothing, if you stay I can even change the world or perhaps I won't have
grown up, letting butterflies escape "but interpreted with style and
pop-rock rhythms it immediately hooks you, you better listen to it and give
your opinion, thank you very much.

LETRA:
Yo daría lo mejor de mi vida
por estar con vos
y podría reparar mi alma herida
a la luz del sol.
No es tan cierto
que yo vivo como quiero
más bien hago lo que puedo
viviendo a la sombra de tu amor.
Las miradas que cruzamos son palabras
con el corazón
no hay secretos
tengo el cielo por mirarte
y ningún dolor.
Sin embargo
sigo siendo un distraído
como cuando era un niño
dejando mariposas escapar.
Si te vas no tengo nada
o quizás no habré crecido
dejando mariposas escapar.
Yo daría lo mejor de mi vida
por estar con vos
y podría reparar tu alma herida
a la luz del sol.
Sin embargo
sigo siendo un distraído
como cuando era un niño
dejando mariposas escapar.
Si te vas no tengo nada
o quizás no habré crecido
dejando mariposas escapar.
Si te vas no tengo nada
o quizás no habré crecido
dejando mariposas escapar
dejando mariposas escapar
dejando mariposas escapar.
