"FLYING"

Hoy hago una cover a la batería pero no de una versión de otra banda sino de un tema de cosecha propia, en concreto la canción es "FLYING" creada por la banda alicantina de Punk-Rock "THE PUNK BROTHERS". El grupo comienza su andadura en Alicante (España) en el año 2015 liderado por Miguel Ángel Llorens (Voz y bajo), Miguel Sevilla (Guitarra y coros) y Sergio Paredes (Batería y coros). Al año siguiente entra a la batería David Martínez y Jose Miguel Francés (Guitarra y coros) y en 2017 se incorpora a la batería y coros el que suscribe estas líneas (Fernando Pagés). El grupo compone temas propios en inglés con letras con mensajes reivindicativos y provocativos; y también lleva en el repertorio algunas versiones muy personalizadas con el sello del sonido del grupo, todo dentro de un sonido punk-rock con ritmos mayoritariamente rápidos combinados con armonías melódicas y fusionando y mezclando sonidos provenientes de otros estilos como el reggae, ska y trash metal, entre otros.
THE PUNK BROTHERS recibe influencias sobre todo de bandas de punk-rock californiano y anglosajonas como The Offspring, Blink-182, Bad Religion, Green Day, Weezer, Nofx, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Booze & Glory, de clásicos como Ramones, Elvis Presley o Bob Marley, entre otros, así como también de bandas nacionales como Ilegales, Barricada o Siniestro Total dando como resultado un sonido muy enérgico con guitarras afiladas combinadas con arreglos de voces melódicas y ritmos contundentes.

vindictive and provocative messages; and also has in the repertoire some highly
personalized versions with the group's sound stamp, all within a punk-rock

mixing sounds from other styles such as reggae, ska and trash metal, among
others.

bands such as The Offspring, Blink-182, Bad Religion, Green Day, Weezer, Nofx,
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Booze & Glory, from classics like Ramones,
Elvis Presley or Bob Marley, among others, as well as national bands like
Ilegales, Barricada or Siniestro Total, resulting in a very energetic sound
with sharp guitars combined with arrangements of melodic voices and forceful
rhythms.
