Drum cover - Ensayo a la batería de la canción "WHEN YOUR HEARTS STOPS BEATING" de la banda estadounidense "+44". La banda tuvo un recorrido corto en el tiempo (2005-2009), se formó en Los Ángeles (California) por Mark Hoppus (Voz y bajo),  y Travis Barker (Batería y teclados) ámbos integrantes de la banda "BLINK-182"; y Carol Heller (Guitarra y voz; que estaba en la banda "GET THE GIRL") aunque ésta dejó en 2006 la banda +44 y fue sustituida por los guitarristas Craig Fairbaugh (Guitarra, teclados y coros) y Shane Gallager (Guitarra) del grupo "MERCY KILLERS". También formó parte de +44 Gil Sharone (Batería 2006-07) y Victoria Asher (Voz 2007).

El nombre del grupo "+44" que pronunciado en inglés sería "Plus Forty Four" se debe al código de teléfono internacional el Reino Unido y surgió mientras Mark Hoppus y Travis Barker se encontraban allí durante la última gira que dió "BLINK-182" antes de su separación.

El estilo de +44 lo podríamos catalogar dentro de las "etiquetas musicales" del  Pop-Punk, Punk-Rock Californiano o Rock Alternativo con ritmos rápidos con cambios, guitarras afiladas conjugadas con juegos de voces melódicas y estribillos muy rítmicos.

En cuanto a la canción elegida para hoy "WHEN YOUR HEART STOPS BEATING" me fascinó desde que la escuché por primera vez gracias a mi amigo Miguel Ángel Llorens y compañero de "THE PUNK BROTHERS". Creo que es una canción que transmite muchísima energía y realmente me dio trabajo encajar el break que lleva a mitad de canción, así que muy contento con ella, espero que os guste.

 "CA IN JULY" es el tema elegido para el ensayo de hoy a la batería, pertenece a la banda de Punk-Rock estadounidense "THE BOMBPOPS". La banda californiana se formó en San Diego en el año 2007 y está integrada por Jen Razavi y Poli Van Dam como líderes fundadoras a la voz y guitarras, además de estar acompañadas por Neil Wayne al bajo y Josh Lewis a la batería, aunque la formación ha tenido varios cambios desde su nacimiento, de hecho han pasado 6 bajistas y 3 bateristas distintos, lo que influyó para que la banda no lanzara al mercado su primer álbum "Fear of Missing Out" hasta el año 2017 aunque en el noviembre de 2010 ya lanzaron su primer EP de debut de forma independiente "LIKE I CARE".

El sonido del grupo si quisieramos etiquetarlo creo que encajaría sobre todo en la onda Pop-Punk con ritmos muy rápidos conjugados con voces melódicas y estribillos pegadizos, aunque tiene diversas influencias de grupos punk, punk-rock, post-punk, skate-punk y pop-punk sobre todo de la década de los 90, como Bad Religion, Green Day, Blink 182, Epitaph Records y Fat Wreck Chords, entre otros.
