"TROLLEY TO TRANSPORT THE HARDWARE OF YOUR DRUM"
Today we are going with a simple "Videotutorial" in which I show you how to make a sturdy metal trolley in a simple way to transport the heavy bag loaded with the hardware of our drum, (All the cymbals feet and the various hardware).
For this I have needed the following MATERIALS: 6.5m of perforated galvanized iron angles, 40 M8 screws and nuts, 8 M8 brackets, a metal handle and a pair of fixed wheels. I have adjusted the measurements of the car to the bag that I already had to carry the feet of dishes (which is 115 x 33 x 33).
The TOOLS that I have needed have been: a radial saw with a metal disc to cut the angles, a drilling machine with a metal bit to make the holes where the handle goes, a wrench to tighten the M8 nuts and bolts; and gloves and goggles to protect ourselves when cutting and reworking cut irons.
Regarding the BUDGET, the padded fabric bag that I already had cost me 33 euros in a music store and the materials described to make the car bought in a hardware store have amounted to a total of 50.19 euros (€ 19 per two fixed wheels and the rest the angles € 16, screws and nuts € 4.99, 8 brackets € 3.45 and stainless handle € 6.75).
The TIME it took to build the car once I had all the materials and tools has been less than 3 hours in total. Well, better than telling it is that you can see it so here is the video tutorial recorded by my son Iván (with camera turns included, sorry, haha) with the steps to follow so you don't have to suffer carrying your huge bag loaded of irons, I was already fed up so since the cars that I saw in the market did not serve me for this huge bag I was encouraged to make the car adjusting it to the measurements I needed and I cannot be more happy with the result because for something the man invented the wheel and me without realizing it beforehand Aghhh! Well, I hope some of you can find it useful.
